There are so many different ways to go about achieving your goals, head on. While many people want to say that it is different in business, I don’t think that is true. You could choose to market your business the traditional way with ads, carving out a monthly budget that will cover the cost of reaching your audience. You could also take the alternative route of creating content that reaches your audience organically. There are also some people that use a combination style of marketing to achieve the goals that they have. Whatever you choose, you have to realize that your content is going to be a major part of crushing your goals in business online.
Lessons from using content in blogging
I remember when I first got online back in 2006. I had just given birth to my son and I wanted to share with the world a message that I had in my heart. I had read a few different blogs that encouraged me and more than encouragement, they made me feel like I was apart of a community that understood where I was at in that period of my life. Little did I know that blogging would lead me down a path of creative entrepreneurship.
While blogging, I learned that your readership is based upon how often you posted to your site. It also mattered what you said and what you shared. The community that you belonged to also played a huge role in how successful your blog was. This is what I learned as a blogger, but the truth is that this has not gone away.
Content is Everywhere
Today, content is everywhere. It is on social media, on YouTube, on your website, and when we realize it, content has always been around. It is what the marketers use to get us to purchase the items that we love and to stay away from those that we hate. So how can you use your content to crush your goals
Over the past few weeks, I have been sharing on how to use your content in your business. We have talked about the key position that your content plays in your relationship with your audience.
I did my best to help you see that your content plays a pivotal part in your online success. While many people what say that content doesn’t matter, there are key components that make your content a powerful elevator of your business.
Seven Powerful Elements of Your Content
Here are some of the components that makes content so powerful.
1. Your content is a powerful tool and a resource
2. Your content establishes you as an expert in your field
3. Your content tells your audience about you and helps them to understand how you can help them
4. You content warms your audience up to your message. It does some of the pre-selling for you, answering questions that could normally take long periods of time to explain
5. Your content introduces your product or service to the world, explaining it and providing clarity
6. When published correctly, it becomes a tool that can be used to drive traffic to your website or your social media.
7. Your content enables you to make sales in your sleep, when you combine it with a funnel or shopping option
As you can see there are many different things that your content can accomplish for you in your business. It is one of the reasons why I focus so much on content marketing.
Knowing how often you should post isn’t as important as understanding the power of sharing your message through your content, with your audience.
I go through the technical parts of content creation strategies in my Crush it with Content training bundle. If you are interested in learning how to create 6-12 months of content is 6 days, I encourage you to get it.
Take some time to think about how you can use you’re content to help your audience. How can you use your content to warm up your audience and to sell your product.
Is there something else that you should be creating, that you aren’t. If so, why are you doing it.
You could be leaving inquiring audiences behind and money on the table. Create content that helps grow your audience and propels your business to that next level.
